The MultiPlus is a combined inverter and charger in one package: a true sine wave inverter, adaptive battery charger, and high-speed AC transfer switch built into a single enclosure. This model carries a 16A AC-in transfer relay.
PowerAssist prevents overload of a limited AC source. Battery charging is automatically reduced first to avoid an overload; if demand still peaks, the unit boosts the output of a generator or shore supply with power drawn from the battery.
Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function): if grid, shore or generator power is lost, the inverter takes over the connected loads in under 20 milliseconds, fast enough that computers and other electronics keep running without disruption.
Virtually unlimited power through parallel operation: up to 6 units can run in parallel for higher output, with three-phase or split-phase operation also possible.
