Monitor your van, fridge, battery box, or overland rig — wirelessly, from your phone.
The RuuviTag is a compact, open-source Bluetooth sensor that broadcasts temperature, humidity, air pressure, and motion data in real time. It's a favourite in van builds and overland setups because it works without a hub, connects straight to your phone via the free Ruuvi Station app, and also integrates with Victron Cerbo GX — making it easy to keep tabs on your fridge compartment, battery room, living space, or any area where conditions matter.
What you can monitor:
- Fridge or freezer temperature — know it's holding cold without opening the door
- Van habitation area — track temperature and humidity to manage condensation
- Battery and electrics compartment — catch overheating before it causes damage
- Water tank or storage locker — monitor for freezing on winter trips
- Outside ambient temperature and pressure — useful for weather awareness on remote expeditions

- Victron Cerbo GX (via Bluetooth)
- Ruuvi Station app (iOS and Android — free)
- Home Assistant, Node-RED, and other open-source platforms
