The Fogstar Drift Gen2 Extended CAN Cable gives you an extra 2 metres of reach between your Drift Gen2 battery and a Victron GX device, battery monitor, or a second battery in a parallel bank. Standard RJ45 connectors on both ends — plug and play with all Gen2 Drift batteries.
The CAN-bus connection is how your Gen2 Drift communicates its real-time state of charge, voltage, cell temperatures, and BMS status to a Victron Cerbo GX, Venus GX, or other CAN-compatible device. Without the cable, that data stays on the battery's Bluetooth only. With it, it feeds into your Victron dashboard and DVCC charge management.
